Hijrat Colony’s Hero
KARACHI: Amanullah Memon, 15, from Hijrat colony, is the son of a poor laborer, who can't earn enough to fulfill their family’s basic needs.
Amanullah started studying and taking part in social activities as well as sport activities from an early age. He dreamt of becoming a boxer, but it took time for him to fulfill him dream because he was financially strained. He then started earning money by selling grocery items after which he took admission in a boxing academy. Amanullah bore his own expenses and started training. He won a national championship and was later selected for an international championship where he defeated opponents from the USA and India.
Shah Abdul Wahab is a participant from Sultanabad - Hijrat Colony. He in interested in photojournalism. He is also involved in many social activism projects.
